Day 2: Anchorage

We had a wonderful time meeting up with our couchsurfing host(s) and even managed to have a jam session until 2:30 am (6:30 am Toronto time)...Crazy, considering we only got 3 hours of sleep the night before and had spent 17hrs. traveling, which is almost a good 24hrs. of being awake. Clearly we were on a crazy adrenaline kick. Today was rather relaxed, with all the traveling we'd done the day before. We had a slow morning and then spent the afternoon hiking around the neighborhood bog, indulging in chocolate, cigars and good, fresh, Alaskan air. After our extensive "Christopher Columbus Tour" it was the perfect way to unwind and relax.
Our hosts have been wonderful and have really gone out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home in Alaska. They are also on an awesome dehydrating kick, and we've been fortunate enough to test out their many dehydrating experiments...mmmmm. Thanks for being the hosts with the most! As a result, we have pinned three more people. Woot woot! (Ace of spades, 2 of hearts, 4 of clubs, Ace of clubs, 2 of spades)
