Overview

The goal of the giving project is to recognize acts of kindness that we experience or observe on our moneyless travels. We award a pin we have personally handcrafted to an individual who has performed an act of kindness. The pin recipient's new responsibility is to "pass the pin" along to another who they witness performing an act of kindness.
An act of kindness is completely subjective and up to the pin holder to decide. It is our vision and hope that the giving project affirms peoples kindness and motivates them to continue. Our goal is to distribute a minimum of one hundred pins on our travels.
We've chosen to go moneyless because it creates an opportunity for us to connect with people in a way in which we wouldn't otherwise. In other words we've removed the security blanket that money can be in order to witness peoples inherent kindness and willingness to reach out to those in need.

We've created the Giving Project blog as an open forum for people  to share and track their pin as well as read about other pins travelling the globe.
